Painted dog sculpture

Woo! I made the main character in the comic that I'm planning! He is an African wild dog (also called a Painted dog, or a Cape hunting dog).

He looks different colours in all the photos because of my lame photography skills. The picture in the top right is closed to his actually colours. Even then he is slightly darker and more reddish than I was originally wanting, but after an hour or so of trying to mix the right colour, I decided it was close enough! Anyway, its definitely the first sculpture I have made where painting has not ruined it!

I also got a chance at trying some fluffy bits! I recently got new clay tools (Thanks again !) and now I can put heaps of detail into the clay animals! I went a little overboard on the chest though...

I need a proper name for him though. Right now, I just call him Jed, although that doesn't really fit. I would love to hear some name suggestions! Please, tell me names!
